What is the best car for a teen?

Im really Eco friendly, it can be a coupe or 2 with back seats or 4 door i dont care i just wont really need more seats. safe (parents =) and unique or just a really good car! suggestions?

Your going to laugh at my suggestion, but i'll explain

Get an old BMW 318 from the years 1984 to 1998. If you get one in good condition and replace a few things and keep up on maintmence, it will be a very reliable, eco friendly car. A properly functioning bmw 318 can get up to 38 mpg. and it looks and handles great too. People will love a BMW and you will look cool, but it you get a civic you will blend in with the rest of the crowd and never have any fun driving

i would definately go with a Honda Civic being a teen myself i have always wanted a honda civic si with all the goodies i dont know if you or whoever is in to that stuff but honda is the way to go and plus they get excelent gas milage thanks

a good car for a teen that will last a long time and get good gas mileage is honda civic.  a good car for a teen that won't get any uglier when you have your first crash is any volkswagen.

An old pickup truck.  Safer than the small cars on the road, can be had with multipe seats, and the bigger vehicle will force the teen to be aware of their vehicle at all time, making them a better driver.  And, if it gets scratched or damaged somehow, or is in a minor accident, having an older, somewhat beat up vehicle will cause this not to be as big of a deal as it would on a small little car, which often have large plastic components on the front that can be costly to repair.  You may not like the answeras it sound like you were thinking something a little sportier, but if you learn how to take care of an older vehicle, when you get a nicer one in the future it will make it mean that much more to you.
