I'm looking for the stereo to have a usb port and aux plug in (doesn't matter if the plug ins are made on the front or come from the back of the stereo). I want it to play any cd I put in it. I would like for the stereo to have good sound quality. I would like to have one that, if I decided to get a different car, that I could put some high performance speakers and subs in it and only have to take out the radio and put it in the other car and already have all the features i need to do what I want with it. I like to play my music loud and I'm not planning on putting in any subs, just door and dash speakers in my 1989 toyota pickup single cab. I don't really want to pay a whole lot for a stereo because I still have to buy all new speakers. Price range: anywhere from $0 to $200 can't pay over 200 please give me help and feel free to give any suggestions on brand and model.

P.S. all suggestions are helpful.

  1. Alpine hands down

  2. Pioneer is doing really strong in the car audio category.. They make great head units.. Most of them arent all flashy and have the animation **** like duals, or cool little flip downs like kenwoods but the sound they emit are amazing.. especially if your running subwoofers

look at the PEH-6000 its a great head unit for about 160-190bucks

  3. blaupunkt (sp) or alpine. then there is always Sony.-blurey

there are lots of good brands out there check out the variety on line or at the store. good luck!-blurey

  4. Pioneer or Alpine.  Right around the $200 price point you should be able to get a good H/U.

  5. alpine

  6. Probably Alpine, but you'll spend over $200.00 Check the prices on the Alpine, I\ve never heard a better sounding car stereo.
