  1. a '74 Vega. Its old, classic and Nice. Just cool to have one to drive around

  2. I've had bad luck in general with cars, but I'd say my 1999 Jetta TDI.

It was the first car I bought new.

It was the first car I learned how to do more than just tiny repairs on.

    It gets 47mpg

I have driven it 172,000 miles, and the heel of my right foot has worn a hole through the floor mat and through the carpet beneath that.

  3. 1983 Corvette, by far.  I road raced it against the 1983 Porsche 911 which nearly left the road on some of the curves my Corvette hugged like a huggy bear.  Actually, it was my husband's car most of the time, but he shared it when he wasn't upset about my most recent speeding ticket.  We owned it for 7 years and maintenance was no problem.  Probably one of the best cars GM ever built!

  4. My best car was either my Mercedes Benz or my Cadillac.

I like them because they look awesome and they are very safe cars.

  5. A 1980 Mustang with a four cylinder engine and a standard transmission.  It would go 85 mph all the way from Houston to San Antonio and back again (about 450 miles) on about 15 gallons of gas.  It was cheap to maintain - parts were available anywhere - but it didn't need many.  I drove it and so did my three sons for 185,000 miles before selling it to a very satisfied teenager as his first car.

  6. 67 Ford Mustang GT coupe,  Keith Black pistons and rings, bored .30, ported and polished heads, roller cam, roller lifters and roller rockers, Demon 750 carb, Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake, c4 tranny, w/ shift kit, 3.73 gears and Eaton posi in the rear end, hooker long tube headers, 3"  'H' pipe exhaust, 1 chamber flowmasters, B&M ratchet shifter.

a car like this, you don't worry about mpg, you just wait for that light to turn green, and punch it.

  7. 89 Nissan Sentra. Cheap parts and sooo easy to fix. Looked like c**p, but it ran very well. When I sold it, it had 260,000+ miles on it.

  8. the best car i ever owned was a 1976 Saab 99 gle fuel injected 4 cylinder it belonged to a teacher i had in high school she was only the second owner and it was very well maintained not a spot of rust anywhere on it. she bought a newer saab back in 91 and when i expressed an interest in buying it she just gave it to me free of charge. it was a fast little car i got my first and only speeding ticket with that car it had  three hundred and fifty thousand miles on it and i was still clocked at 125 on the interstate one night that car was awesome. by the way i would not recomend driving that fast it cost me the right to drive and over 1000 in fines!
