I know the Eurostar is the best way from London to Paris, but does it even go the other way (from Paris to London)? If not, how can you get from Paris to London fairly cheap?

  1. There are four options from London to Paris (and all of them have the return option, so don't worry about that)

1 - Eurostar as you pointed out.  Advantages is that is it is quicker than coach/car but more expensive than flying generally.  However it is a easy way to travel and in my opinion worth the extra payment to aboid being herded like cattle and shipped by plane (like it is these days on the budget airlines)

2 - coach. This is the cheapest option normally but takes 8-12 hours depending on which coach you take and where from/to exactly. You can check this on http://www.eurolines.co.uk

    3. By car - not a cheap option these days given fuel prices and also the rising ferry costs as well.  Also driving in Paris is a nightmare from h**l, so definately the worst option even if you own your own car

    4.  By plane. This can be cheap if you have a budget airline (e.g. Easyjet flies from luton to Paris) and using http://www.skyscanner.net for a random date in November you can get a return for 52 quid.

So it's really up to you, what you prefer......... but if you find the magic carpet, can I borrow it sometime depending on how much luggage you can carry!

  2. Walking then swiming!

  3. magic carpet ftw!
