  1. London obviously - everyone always says that, and for good reason. It is very diverse and is the main place people travel to. Other than that:

    Bath - heritage sight, beautiful

Sheffield - it's a very industrial city and is quite different to many others I've been to, also very gd for music

As someone above said, it does depend on what you're into...

    Beauty, history, technology, urban development?

I know you said England but Cardiff (Wales) and Edinburgh (Scotland) are beautiful cities too!!

  2. London !

  3. Depends entirely on your interests.

Try doing a little research on the net to find places that would interest YOU. Then pick the city that contains most of them.

  4. Next to London, Bristol ,Its a Beautiful City

  5. Bath is a beautiful place, the whole city is an official world heritage site.

  6. Try York.   It is very diverse with beautiful historic buildings, not least the magnificent minster.   Great quaint streets, try the shambles.   Good food and pubs and generally something for everyone.   Great city.

  7. I think the best city is Oxford because it's beautiful, cultural and very academic, suits me! I personally love Oxford which has a good mix between a city environment and nature.

But if you're taste is in urban cities, then London is pretty beautiful and interesting too. My friends and I visited it and loved it.

  8. my favourite would be Durham with its fantastic cathedral and castle and ancient city ... with trips out to Newcastle, Hadrians Wall, Marsden Rock on the coast, Washington Old Hall (where George Washington's family came from), Beamish Museum ... oh and loads and loads of other great places in a very beautiful area of the country

  9. London always
