What is the best cleaning solution to use on cotton-twil?

I just bought a seagrass rug and the border is cotton-twill. Does anyone have any experience or pointers to offer me for cleaning the border? Thanks!

I use upholstery cleaner, like Folex because it doesn't have to be rinsed away and gets out most stains.
