What is the best college in Karachi Pakistan for an American born Pakistani wanting to study medicine?

I was born and raised in America, and i am about to finish high school here. after high school, i want to finish college in pakistan, in karachi. i want to study medicine. i can speak good urdu, but i cant read it, and i dont know advanced urdu vocab, poetry, or literature or any of that. I want to go to a school that uses mainly english. I know about Aga Khan, but im assuming its difficult to get into. Where should i go to school?

  1. Aga Khan University (http://www.aku.edu/) should be your first choice. After all over 90% of Aga Khan Graduates are practicing in foreign countries (majority is in US). This medical college is well know and respected for the quality of Physicians it produces. Another option is Dow Medical College. You can look at http://www.hec.gov.pk/QualityAssurance/R... for list and ranking of universities in Pakistan. Even though Aga Khan is highly competive, as a foreign student, it will be "easier" for you to get admission into Aga Khan (of coruse you will be paying much higher tution).


  2. there are many foreign students in my class who cant read Urdu but they can speak...

    aga khan must be the best choice in Karachi and king Edward medical college in Lahore...
