macbook, macbook air, lenovo, hp, toshiba?

I need something quiet and fast, just to do my school work on and stuff, im not really going to use it for games or music. i just want something light, fairly small, 13.3 inch screen or less, and fast. I was looking at the new lenovo x200, and some of the macbooks but i am not sure?

  1. You should get a Macbook.

It has bootcamp, which means you can have Windows Xp or Windows Vista on your Macbook. Not only that but the Macbook is great since it has a fast Intel core 2 Duo processor. That means that you can run more programs much faster.

  2. macbook pro/ macbook dont go for macbook air there is no slot for cds!!

  3. I think the first thing you need to define is how much money you want to spend on a laptop.

In general, if you are not wanting to use any memory hog type of software like photoshop, coral, etc....  and you are not going to be storing & editing a lot of video files then you just need a regular laptop that can be used on the internet and used to type papers for classes.

Almost any laptop you get now will be fairly fast, and a decent amount of RAM in it.

The smaller the screen or the larger you end up having to pay more money.

Last year I bought a Fujitsu laptop, with Vista, and it runs like a pro.  I do use Photoshop, but it still is very fast, only weighs 7 lbs, so it is very portable, and I only spent $700.

    Thanks for reading!
