Don't get a spray tan though, you don't want to look orange for prom, half of the girls in my year did, and it's not a good look!

Just try on alot of dresses and whatever your comfortable in and whatever makes you feel beautiful is the dress for you! Some tips though, if you have fair skin, a cream or light shade of any colour would compliment you. If you have a darker complexion, rich warm colours are the ones to go for. Especially a dark red would be fab! Good luck.

Depends on your color of skin, eyes, and hair. My sister who has brown hair very tan and has hazel eyes looked GORGEOUS in her pink, red, black, and yellow dress.
