I need to get a good color lens to go with my goggles. I want to get a pair of Oakley A Frame goggles but I don't know what lens will be best. I don't plan on buying two pair so I need to know which one I should get. I will be snowboarding mostly in the day but maybe at night. ALSO, WHAT IS A GOOD SNOWBOARD LOCK? I don't want anybody stealing my ****.

  1. ok i understand the lock thing, but the lens is up to you, in the winter, go to a snow shop, and look through each lens, perferably through a window at the clean, clear snow. then pick your lens color and shade and mirriors, w/e... then order that shade in the brand of oakly A frames

  2. You need to get either a photochromic lens, one that changes depending on the light, or get two lenses, one for night and one for day.

Blue or gold mirrored for day increased contrast

Dark gray mirrored for day neutral contrast.

    Clear for night.

I have yet to find a snowboard lock that I can't break in under 10 seconds.  They are really designed so someone doesn't casually walk off with your board.  Board checks are much safer.

  3. Amber

  4. oarnge lenses are the best because they help your eyes contrast and get use to the snow. Snowboard lock youcan get a burton lock or just use a bike lock.

  5. I am not familiary with Oakley, but, if they have it, go with a Green or Blue Mirror lens.  They look awesome!

  6. I find Amber is best for skiing and snowboarding!
