What is the best color to coordinate with our red, with blac flecks brick exterior?

we like bold colors, but our contracter said the neighbors would burn it down :)

  1. With a red brick you have tons of options, you could do a cream eggplant and black colour scheme. Or you could just say to h**l with the neighbors, and paint what ever colour you feel like. Good luck.


  2. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

    How about a neutral green like "garden path" (# 2829)? It's a nice color - not beige or white - yet it's not so wacky that the neighbors would object to it.

  3. With red brick, I like to see a taupy brown, cream,  or if you prefer grays.
