  1. I love the suggested ideas of yellow and goldenrod...depending no the shade, they would be warm and cheerful.

I have painted kitchens with stainless steel two colours, both equally successful, in my opinion. One was a soft, warm sage green tone. It was natural and warm, but cooler than a pure yellow, to compliment the shiny accents. Kind of like #7727 on the colour palette link below.

The other was a tart, yellow/green called "Sweet Olive" it was warm cheerful and lively! Kind of like #7744 on the link below.

    Good luck!

  2. You already have pretty good answers. I think a sort of aqua is nice or a yellow! Windows also make a difference you don't want a ktichen to light or to dark...

  3. I've got the same appliances - and eventually I'm going to have light cabinets.  I'm painting mine a tomato red  It's at Do It Best = Vine Tomato is the color

  4. a soft yellow is always nice and cheery for the kitchen. It depends on the cabinets you may have, and other colors that will be in the kitchen

  5. baige to hide the grease that's gonna accumulate on the wall

  6. Some soft earth tone color would go great.

  7. Yellow is always good for kitchens, because it's cheery. But if that's too drastic, try a goldenrod, or something a little darker to warm things up.

(Stay away from reds. They've been proven to increase your appetite!)

  8. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think a pale blue like "byte blue" (# 6498) would be a terrific color choice.

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & for $5 they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

  9. light brown.bc it matches well with wooden cabinets.
