Try looking att the neighborhoods of Rosales, La Candelaria, Bella Suiza, Chico, Zona Rosa, Zona T, Santa Barbara. There is an excellent ex pat school in bogota called Nueva Granada.

yes there is lots to do. There are malls, nightlife, bars, restaurants, museums, not necessarily in the neighborhood you might pick to live in but around the city there are.

good question. the only way to know is go out physically and look around. the problem is i keep talking and thinking about other countries but don't go out to see them. haha.
