What is the best company to rent a car from when traveling far distances?

I am moving from Chicago to Florida. I am trying to find the cheapest place to rent a car from to drive down. I plan to rent it end of october to beginning of november.

check with orbitz. If you go there and click on car rentals, you can put in the dates, locations, and you'll get quotes from almost all of the big rental companies. They even offer cheaper (than what the rental companies charge) car insurance, if you need it

keep in mind - one way rentals (where you pick up and drop off at different places) are always higher than if you pick up and drop off at the same location

National Car Rental. They are cheap and a variety of cars to choose from, we moved from Mississippi to SC, they were cheap, we had unlimited mileage and everything. So I highly recommend you National Car rental.
