What is the best cordless handheld vacuum for dog hair?

I have a long hair collie, that sheds all the time. I need a handheld that will clean the sofa and curtains between regular vacuuming. What is the strongest compact handheld?

I have a large breed dog that sheds tons... However, I have yet to find a small cordless vacuum that can handle the dog hair.. They just don't have enough power.... So, I have a few options.. If I'm vacuuming with my full-size upright I use the onboard attachments... I also have a cord model SHARK vac. that works really, really well... I also in extreme cases have used a small wet/dry shopvac.. That actually worked the best AND it can be used to extract stains, accidents and wet messes from the carpet.. A small light model will cost around $25.. I also have 2 toddlers and I've used it to get a toy unstuck from the toilet!  Very, handy....
