What is the best cordless handheld vacuum?

What is the best cordless handheld vacuum for for someone with two very hairy dogs? I vacuum everyday (which sucks) with the regular vac, but my shedding husky and collie immediatley leave huge tufts of hair as soon as Im done. I need something I can use to pick up in between vacuums.

I have a dirt devil Kurv for my non carpeted floors and it is wonderful!!!

It picks up all kinds of stuff from my son, husband, the lab, weimereiner and cat and does a wonderful job.  The only drawback is that the battery runs out after about 30 minutes of continuous use.

Eureka Cordless Quick Up  !!!!!!

My sister has a Sheltie.  She has tried at least a dozen handheld, vacuums.  So when I built a new house last year, she bought one for me  <at Bed Bath & Beyond, I believe>

It is the most amazing little picker upper.  It comes with an extra re-chargable battery.  I just keep it plugged in, in my laundry room--hanging on the wall.  It zips around hardwood floors, porcelain tile and carpeting!

It won't deep clean, mind you...but will certainly keep things tidy looking between regular vacuuming.

It costs around $40.
