Central? Belize for sure, I saw many pictures and it looks beautiful, blue blue water, great weather, great food, perfect for diving. Mexico is very nice too so much history and culture...  

If you decide to go a bit farther, go to Brazil, it's amazing!

Guatemala is a great choice. It has a little bit of everything, mountains, rain forrest, beaches, and beautiful lakes. Then thrown in all the mayan ruins and the beautiful spanish colonial city of Antigua and even the modern city of Guatemala City if that is what suits you.

It is hard to go wrong with Guatemala.

Well it depends what you would like to visit. Honduras may be a good choice. If you consider nice beaches or snorkeling at the Bay Islands. About an hour by Ferry from Roatan is La Ceiba which has a national park in Pico Bonito a huge mountain where you could also do some rafting. You can also visit the mayan ruins in Copan and old colonial towns near the ruins. Also the whole caribbean coast has very nice beaches very close from San Pedro Sula.

Well, i'm from Nicaragua, so of course i will recommend Nicaragua. Lots of eco-touristic things to do here. We have the largest lake in Central America (Lake Nicaragua), the largest rainforest north of Brazil (Bosawás), the oldest colonial city in the Americas (Granada), the largest volcanic island in a lake in the world (Ometepe), wonderful people, food, diveristy and more.

I would also recommend Honduras, especially the Bay Islands, they are absolutely beautiful. But, in reality, Central America isn't that big and it is not impossible to visit all the countries here. All Central American countries are beautiful and have many things to offer.

i lived in Costa Rica for a few months and it is absolutely gorgeous. The ticos are friendly, the beaches are awesome, the culture is amazing. Also, while i was there i also went to Nicaragua and Panama. I must say that Bocas del Toro, Panama is a little island chain, It is the most beautiful place ive ever seen. The water was so clear, you could see dolphins swimming beneath the boat. Snorkeling was amazing. The nightlife was great. I would recommend in Costa Rica to visit Volcan Arenal and the Rain forest. It is an experience of a life time.
