although im from dublin - (and its a great city, especially for tourist attractions!)...but i would reccomend Galway, because you still get the buzz of a city (yet your not in dublin) and yet there beautiful attractions there aswell.

it really depends on what your looking for aswell, Wexford is lovely for beaches and sunshine(if your lucky!)...

The coastal counties are the best. Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Clare, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Donegal, Antrim and Down are all worth visiting.

It depends whether or not you want to be in large populated areas or not. If you're looking to see some great countryside, check out County Cavan. If you're looking to interact with lots of people, go to Dublin, Donegal County, or Belfast.
