What is the best cricket shoe to play in?

I an a regular cricketer playing every weeked, all weekend. I need a new pair or spikes, i was thinking about a pair of ascis or a pair of addidas, any suggestions on which ones?

It depends on the shoe you feel comfortable in. As a bowler I didn't feel comfortable running in the regular pair of spike so I wore tennis shoes.

I believe Asics are better.

1. Because Asics are a shoe company with better technology

2. Asics just make shoes, basically no other products - so they are not only very experienced in making shoes, they make good quality shoes - while as other brands such as Adidas, may not make as such good shoes - primarily because they are a company which don't just make shoes - they are very broad.

I just think Asics are better - even though you see Ricky Ponting wearing Adidas - I think that is just part of a sponsorship - but i believe Asics are just a better shoe brand, and are more supportive around your ankle etc.
