We are young (21-31) and we want to have FUN, but we also want impeccable service. Money is (for once!) no object - yay! We are going to Hawaii, and we live in Vegas, so I guess we should leave from somewhere in California. Any suggestions???

  1. Norweigen! Carnival is junky and it's a cruise for kids and parents so if you want screaming kids than choose carnival and if you want a lot to do and meet a lot of different people and do what ever you want then choose norweigen! because it's FREESTYLE CRUISING! carnival is not fun! and they tell you when and who you eat with and norweigen lets you do what ever you want! I don't want to be bossed around on my vacation!

  2. I have been on carnival and its not great at all. The service and quality of the ships is lacking as are onboard activities. If you want excellent service and ships with lots of fun things to do try royal caribbean. They have lots to do from ice skating, rock climbing to salsa and swing lessons, and liquor tastings. There ships are very innovative, and you have so many activity choices that its impossible to get bored. The food and entertainment are also excellent. You may also want to look into Norwegian cruise line and princess, I hear they are very good.

  3. Well some people say Carnival is a peice of c**p. But i disagree I think that it is afordible, fun for your age, and has amazing food. Last year I went on Holland America and I thought it was very boring compared to carnival. You dont have nearly as much activities as you do on carnival.

  4. CARNIVAL!! It is definitely the fun ship and the food is great too. I would also check out Royal Caribbean and Princess. Those two cruise lines are a blast as well. But your best bet is Carnival!!

  5. There's a great time to be had on Carnival Cruise ships. I went on a cruise there and it was great. There are a bunch of different ships, for whatever you like, mine was called the "Carnival Triumph"

    Good luck with your travels!

  6. I see that you're young. Carnival is fun for 18 year olds, with big parties and relaxed security, but the service isn't great. Carnival is the cheapest, I know it's not an issue but I'm throwing it out there.

Royal Caribbean has TIGHT security for underage partiers but you can have fun since you're legal age, all clubs are open for you and Royal has top of the line service.  Royal is  more expensive than Carnival but the Service and rooms are worth it.  If you go on Royal, get a balcony room.

Norwegian has great service, but the parties aren't great.  The crowd is a little bit older... and the trip is probably the most expensive. I didn't like the parties, they weren't the crazy spring-break parties like on Carnival and Royal Caribbean.

I'd choose Royal Caribbean for you.  If not, Carnival.  Then, Norweigan.  But you can't go wrong on any ship.  There will always be parties and good service.

  7. We have been on 4 cruises so far, 3 with Carnival and the most recent one with Princess. We were not by any means disappointed with Princess, but we thought Carnival had a little more "fun" especially on the Lido Deck (pool areas). I think we're going with Carnival next time around. We also might check out Royal Caribbean sometime. Holland America and Celebrity are mostly for older people.

Enjoy the towel animals and bon voyage!!!
