  1. i just got back from on the carnival and im 12 and i hated it.. there was nothing to do.. but we are looking at the royal carribean and that looks very good.. i heard that some of the ships have a flo rider! those are really fun! but im just 12 so the carnival might just be stuiped to me.. but my mom and dad said that carnival wasnt that good either.. and they have been on carnival.. so no offense to carnival but IT SUCKED!!.. but they did have good workers!

GO ON THE ROYAL CARRIBEAN!! it looks very nice.. hoped this helped!!!

  2. Definitly Royal Carribean is on the top 8 from your post for the quality of its entertainment and on board activities. I have been 2 times last year on the Liberty of the Seas and going again in July 2008.

I also cruised on the Jewel from the NCL and it was pretty good too. The food was better than RC.

It always depends on what kinds of vacation you want to have...family type, party type, honeymoors or seniors.

    I hope that helped you!

  3. It depends on what you mean by "best", and even then it's a matter of opinion.  You and I are probably not looking for the same thing, so we may not agree on "best".  Of those you listed, Celebrity and Holland are considered "premium" mass-market lines, as is Disney [it's also pretty expensive - they only have two ships].  Princess is probably in-between those lines and the others;  Carnival and RC are a step above Norwegian and, probably, MSC.

I'd suggest you get a book on cruising from the library, which can give you an overview of the different lines/ships.

You might also check out websites that would evaluate the different lines, like CruiseCritic.com ["Reviews"].  CondeNast Traveler does an annual list of "best" cruises and this may be available on-line.  Frommer's and Fodor's websites may also have info about cruises.

  4. I would choose my cruise line based on several factors:

    Price

    Time Frame/availability

    destinations/islands

    lenght of cruise

    size of cabin

It's a manner of what is right for you. If you are a family looking for a cruise, I would say Carnival would be the best choice because most families opt for that cruise line and the kids will meet other kids.

If you are a couple looking for romance, I would choose Royal Caribbean or Princess.

    Enjoy)

  5. i loved royal caribbean....food was amazing!
