What is the best cruise line out there that you have been on ?

Im looking for answers in regard to most fun,opportunity, food(HELLO!) friendly staff and destination as well as cost. I have never been on one and want to go but unsure as to which is the best from people out there who have already done so and had a great time. Thanks so much. Also, any tips beforehand?

Most of your mass market cruise lines are pretty similar in quality as far as food, service, entertainment etc go. The time of the year you go makes a difference, summer / school breaks means more families and kids on board.  When school is in session, you see more couples and seniors. Celebrirty and Princess may be 1/2 step up from CCL, NCL and RCCL but proably not a whole heck of a lot.  HAL tends to have more seniors than the other lines.  I don't think you will go wrong on any cruise line,  I would pick based on the itinery and price more than I would the cruise line. Also, on all lines,  the longer cruises tend to have the newer, fancier ships.

Well, I'm a foody and loved Princess. They are not the most expensive, but for my money, they are great

Everyone who has been on a cruise finds different things they like & dislike. Some go for the cruise experience & some go for the ports of call. Some like a balcony cabin & some are happy with an inside cabin as they do not spend much time there.

Food they all do their best to offer an great choice either by a buffet or speciality style resturant.

Destination & cost depends greatly on lenght of cruise & time when you go. Like most states a cruise destination has seasons. Like Alaska in mostly May threw Sept. Hawaii you can go year round etc.

I have sailed with Norwegian, Princess & Holland America & all 3 had great service, food & people of all age groups.

You should decide where & what you would like as far as a destination and then check out the different cruise sites to give you an idea of prices. I have been on 23 cruises and never had a bad experince but, someone else many expect something different than I. A Cruise is a great vacation as just about everything is at your finger tips.
