  1. We like Carnival over Royal Caribbean and Disney.

Royal Caribbean is too stuffy my my teen and 'tween and Disney is too much Mickey Mouse for my husband and I.

    Good value and good times!

  2. Kids - Carnival

    Adults - Princess

    Seniors - Holland

Thats my opinion; Stay away from Royal, They used to be good not no more, food was awful, service a joke, Just came back from a alaska trip.

Not in US but check out amadeuswaterways.com Awesome ships - SELL out very fast

    suggest to contact http://www.vacationsnbeyond.com

  3. Best for what?  Service?  Food?  Luxury?  Activities?  Itinerary?  Shore excursions?  Price?  For families?  For senior citizens?  For young couples?

  4. It sounds like a not easy cracking nut, have a look here, you should find something useful for you.http://cruise.online-assistant.info/alas...

  5. I pretty much agree with zoppo.

It depends on what you're looking for.  Carnival is also good for more african americans on board in any given trip.

I've been on 5 cruises, 3 different lines, and obtained feedback from myriad trips my family has taken.  zoppo has it pretty down.

  6. The one thats going to the ports I want to visit for a good price and has over 4 stars.

  7. What line you like the most depends on your age and personality.

Celebrity was a great line in terms of service, food, and entertainment.  I'd rank it first in all three categories, plus an additional one:  price.

Carnival is the line I travel on the most.  The food and service are a notch down, but the entertainment is nearly as good, and it has a more freewheeling environment and younger crowd than most.

Princess is the line I most recently cruised on.  I did not fit in with their target market of affluent seniors (I'm 41), but rate their food and service high.  On the plus side, the drunken / rowdy element was not there, and their trivia sessions were frequent though without the flash of Carnival.  Their production  shows were great, but their variety acts were a disappointment compared to those on Carnival and Celebrity.

Norweigen:  I only cruised on their ships once; it was my first cruise and only three days long.  The food and service were good, as was the entertainment.  I'd have to cruise with them again to figure out where they stand now that I've had nine other cruises.

Royal Olympic:  The best thing about the ship was it's internerary.  I went on it for an eclipse cruise to many ports of call in eastern europe and the former Soviet block, as well as the Greek Islands.  Food, service, and entertainment were notably lower in quality than any other ship I've been on.

Overall, I prefer Carnival for overall value, with the Carnival Triumph being my favorite ship of the ones I've been on.

  8. Personally I like Royal Caribbean - classier than Carnival for the same money, but still young and fun.

  9. Cruising is what you make it. I have enjoyed ever Carnival cruise that I have been on. The ships are clean, the food is good, and the crew is friendly.
