I was looking at either carnival or royal caribbean. But mainly we're looking for a cruise that has a lot of fun things to do, with no time limits or straight schedules. And we're trying to sail out of Ft. Lauderdale or Miami Fl. Thanks!!

  1. Just Married..?

Then I would suggest you don't go for honeymoon

    Remember TITANIC ...?

I didn't mean to hurt you

I am 24 years old boy, just sincere and good

  2. married at 20?!?! are you crazy!?!?!?!?

  3. We took Carnival for our honeymoon and loved every second of it.  They make you feel special at dinner.  They seated us next to other honeymooners so we all had something in common to talk about with them.  If you leave out of Ft. Lauderdale the airfare is a lot less expensive than Miami.  This year we flew to Ft. Lauderdale and took a cab to Miami for our cruise.  Cost of flight, 1 night hotel, and cab to Miami was less expensive than it would have been to fly to Miami.  (we flew from Oklahoma)  Make sure you sit up front in the lounge for the comedy shows because the comedians love newlyweds in there shows.  Carnival also does a fun game called "Newlywed And The Not So Newlywed Game"  it is really funny to watch.  Our friends got picked to be in that on their wedding cruise that we went on and it was a riot.  If you need anymore cruise info that you can't find out yourself email me if you want cuz I go every year and would definately love to help.

  4. CONGRATS!!!!

its funny because i saw the title of the question and before i read the follow up info i thought to myself Carnival or Royal Caribbean.  In my opinion these are the nicest ships and the ones with the most stuff going on.

Carnival is known a little bit more to be a party ship so if that is what you are into I would say try that one.  If not then you might still like it.  I have been on Carnival 3-4 times and never once has its "party ship" status ever caused a problem or any discomfort to me what so ever.  Had I wanted to though it would have been easy to find a good rambunxious group of people to hang out with.

Royal Caribbean doesnt have the same party status, but really has the nicest ships of any of the fleets.  Some have the ice skating rink and rock wall while some have the surfing thing.  In short there is so much to do on these ships it will be hard to fit them both in.  I think Royal Caribbean has slightly better food and is a little bit more elegant than the Carnival fleet so this may be a big seller for you.

Carnival is by far the best deal for the amount of days you will sopend on the ship vs price.  Royal Caribbean will be more expensive but it has mroe things on the ship to do which is the trade off....my advice would be to spend the money on royal caribbean as it is your honeymoon and also to take a long one like 9 nights (carnival has very few opver 8 day if any at all).  If you want a more laid back party cruise you are more likely going to have an easier time findign it on carnival (although im sure royal caribbean has some good parties too).

  5. I'm 21 and my fiance is 24. We'll be going to Alaska on Royal Caribbean. I've sailed with them before on Radiance of the Seas and absolutely loved it. I think Carnival would be too much of a party ship for us (but I've never sailed with them so I honestly can't say). Our Royal Caribbean cruise was tons of fun... definitely no lack of activities to keep you busy, even at 1am. Be sure you know all of the alcohol policies of your destination before you go. Alaska's liquor laws are pretty intense (I was 5 months from my 21st birthday sailing with my dad and I wasn't allowed to drink). Don't know if that helps at all :)

  6. Royal Caribbean of course! We always cruise with them, they treat us so well. They offer honeymoon packages too!

  7. we went on carnival for ours out of miami and they treated us really good and sang a honeymoon song at dinner and gave us a cake (not a slice an actual cake) carnival has better deals and is more laid back then royal. two ships from carnival that sail out of miami are the imagination and fasination and both go to meixco and western caribbean.the rooms are big compared to rc and there are always young people on the ships there is always something to do on the ship (with both lines)

i would also suggest royal they also have a good selection from fll or miami, and offer ice skating and rock climbing on the ships. they are a little higher in price but worth is.

  8. Carnival would be best for you.  Lots of fun things and you can also have a lot of alone time.

I would suggest getting a balcony room.  It costs a little more but is so much better than an outside room.  Do not even think about an inside room.  It is like being in a closet.

  9. Carnival is the "Fun Ship" of the seas.  It is the best value for the dollar however it is a fairly basic cruise line.  They offer pool games and deck games alng with adult entertainment that many party goers and bar hoppers like.

If you an active person who likes rock climbing, ice skating, roller bladdding, basketball and a boat load of fun acitivites that is presented in a more subdued setting then then Royal Caribbean is the way to go.  Royal Caribbean cruises do cost slightly more on average but well worth the money.

    Hope this helps,
