I want to take a short 3-4 night cruise from Southern CA down to Baja CA. I am traveling alone. I'm not seeking any romantic sort of encounters, so I don't really want a specifically "singles" cruise. I do want a cruiseline that has activities where I can enteract with other passengers, so I don't have to spend all my time alone.

  1. All of the cruise lines have activities for everyone.  BUT, cruise lines do not offer single accommodations.  All of their cabins are sold DOUBLE OCCUPANCY.  If you want to pay for a cabin by yourself you will generally end up paying slightly less than a double fare.  So if a 4 day cruise goes for $700 a person you will probably have to pay about $1200 to $1300 for it.  If you want to do that and go cheaper, select the lest expensive inside cabin.

  2. Royal Caribbean has many adult activites. It is filled with things to do and is more of a fancy area. It is a nice cruiseline but not quite the best. I would personally go on the Norweigan Lines because they have many flexiabilites and you can participate in many activites.

  3. I've been on several Royal Caribbean cruises, and they have tons of activities for people to do, especially on their newly commissioned vessels. It involves stuff like dance clubs, casinos where you can play games and talk to other people, sports like basketball and volleyball, etc.

Most cruiselines offer similar services, though, and I'd say if you want a more adult-oriented (I mean that in an innocent tone!!), Carnival might also be a good option.
