  1. SPANISH

  2. I like everything, as I'm a foodie...

But as I'm 1/2 Vietnamese, I'll say Vietnamese...

Vietnamese was ruled by the French (arguably the Americans) and the Chinese... so they have all that influence plus their own innovations in their food to come up with some awesome stuff... Viet food tastes like you could eat a lot w/o getting fat (very light and fresh... lots o' raw veggies used)...

Fave dish o' the week: Green (raw/unripened) papaya salad

  3. there is no BEST, it depends on what you like

    I like lebanon for example

  4. Italian! ( real italian food, not pizza hut or microwave pasta and tomato sauce)

  5. Anything that does not include Durian as an ingredient. :)

I love Vietnamese, Thai, various Chinese, some Japanese and Korean, various American, Lebanese, Persian,... hmm... I think I like food in general.

  6. Just about anything that comes from the ocean and is spiced up.

  7. Cajun Food and creole following closely behind. great bold flavors and quite unique.

  8. French

  9. mexican

  10. Usually what your mother made or introduced you to.

  11. Lebanese is soooooo good.

  12. IMHO, Italian.  But then i am Italian so I'm admittedly prejudiced.

Close Runners up for me are:

Japanese and French, but the new Fusion cuisine is really good too.

  13. No such thing!

Every cuisine has some dishes worth a mention in the world's best - not all of them necessarily the ones that the country thinks is its best!

For instance - I LOVE all varieties of Cassoulet - but it is a very "peasant" meal!  In the UK I love the traditional roasts - lamb or chicken are my favourites with all the relevant trimmings.

Chines, Indian, Japanese all have real highlight styles - but then I have never travelled to many places to discover all their delicacies!

  14. Variety is the spice of life..

Your question has no definitive answer.  Italian, Chinese, Indian, French, Modern English, Spanish.. Etc..

They all have a place in the stomach of a hungry man..

  15. all of them.  Dare to compare

  16. There's no best cuisine but each individual will have a favourite or favourites. I like European cuisines best, plus Japanese. Chinese has a lot to commend it but it should be broken down into its regional types, such as Pekinese, Szechuan, Cantonese and Manchurian, among others.

Of the European cuisines, it's hard to choose. Right now a paella rather appeals.

  17. Mine! Indian, Cantonese,Szechuan, Turkish, Italian, Peruvian, French, and, if you ask me nicely, a good old roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, gravy (not a 'jus') or even a shepherd's pie (although shepherds are hard to get these days)

  18. Thai. Hands down is the best.

  19. I always seem to come back to Italian. I just love it's simplicity, honesty & passion.

  20. Chinese Food!!!

  21. You have asked a subjective issue. But I will try to answer it as an objective.

    1. Chinese Cuisine is the most common considering the population of China, and the Chinese restaurant world wide

    2. Indian Cuisine has the oldest foods. Idli (a rice and bean dumpling) is over 2,000 years old and considered the most sophisticated dish of the time, considering fermentation and steam cooking

    3. During World War II, French cooking became the darling of all the allies. French cooking is the most popular among Anglo Europeans

    4. The newest entry has to be American. The Hamburger, French fries Apple pie are made popular by all the fast food restaurants world wide.

It has to compete with Pizza. Both American and Italian versions are popular worldwide.

  22. Cajun and Creole, a little different from each other but both excellent!

  23. All cuisines have both good and bad (not so healthy) attributes, this is such a highly subjective topic and has frankly been asked already a few 1000 times!!

  24. Of course, British!

  25. I assume you mean in terms of nationality...?

    Persian.

I haven't the time or patience to explain it to you so we will just have to let the ignorant and vapid give me lots of thumbs down because they know absolutely nothing whatsoever about persian cuisine, or its history...or its purpose.

    Off you go then thicko's!!!!!

  26. north indian food - that was brough to india by the mughal kingdom was and remains GREAT....

todays chicken tikka masalas and tandorries were first cooked in the mughal era in india in the 16th century

also love south indian food - idlis, dosas, all the recipes are almost a work of art - the delicate mixtures, the accomplished methods of steaming / spreading the batter - its AMAZING

  27. The one that you enjoy most is the best.

  28. ALL OF IT!!!!!!!!!!  :D

  29. That can only be down to personal taste, and how good the cook is.

  30. Greek.

All s**y and historical... and the foods good too.
