  1. You could simply use a clove. Put it in/on your tooth or next to it. It will calm the ache.

I don't know if this is the best cure but it sure works.

    Hope this helps.

  2. use a teabag on the tooth (wet it first like making tea) it will temporarily relieve the pain.

  3. I have heard Oragel on TV today, but I haven't tried it.

Look online for other answers.  Ouch .

  4. Depends upon the reason it is aching.  Is it actually a tooth ache or a sinus problem? If you have a cold or allergies, your sinuses can get irritated and swollen and apply pressure to your nerves. If you think that might be the case, rinse your sinuses with saline. You can buy nasal saline at the store.

If you have a cavity or an infection, clean the area well (brush & floss). To clean the area, you can also get a gel made with hydrogen peroxide which will fizz & bubble when you apply it. That can help dislodge any irritating bits of food that may be irritating it. Apply some numbing gel such as Anbesol.

You can also put some gauze around the tooth to keep it from getting irritated further.

Don't take too much pain medication such as aspirin or ibuprofen as it thins blood and can cause you to bleed too much, especially if you need a tooth extracted. Sometimes gently stimulating the gum area around the tooth with a dry toothbrush can get circulation going which will help with the pain.

  5. clove oil, and try rubbing your jawline where there is a small indentation on the affected side eg under the tooth on the jaw
