What is the best currency to take to turkey?

Hey, i'm going to turkey This monday and i went to first choice today and asked them what was the best currency to take and they advised me to take Euro.

But i took euro last year and lost alot of money due to it.

So i would be very grateful if anyone could tell me what the best currency is to take.

if u live in Europe, you are better to take euro, if in USA or in another country, USD is better. But whatever you take with yourself, change it in Turkey to YTL. And don't change ur money at airport.

Take english money, the exchange rate is good there, you can change it over there. You can pay for things with £'s & they'll give you change in their money

You are better if you change you money at the Doviz change place. There everywhere. Change it in to Turkish lira(YTL) . When people deal in euro they are at a higher chance of getting ripped off!!!!!. Just stay with YTL but Euro is accepted everywhere. But for me i would change it into YTL.

it doesn't really matter.  you can use English money, Turkish lira or euros

take some arab money as turkey is in the middle east

I always take YTL, they do accept the euro but for going on the dolmus (bus) etc, best sticking to lira
