  1. What you need is a  Ipod adapter for your factory radio. The model # is AIP-TY01-ID. I know that most Circuit City's carry this unit instock. It is a vehicle specific adapter that will allow you to hook up your Ipod to it. It will also charge your Ipod and allow you to hear it through your factory speakers. You wil still have to control your music from your Ipod but it will play and there is no static at all from these b/c they are "hardwired (for lack of better works)" into your radio. They cost between 50-65 bucks and install on them is 50bucks. This will be the best way to receive CD quality sound from your factory radio. If you need help let me know. DUECES!!!!

  2. Your best bet is to take your car to a local car audio shop.  They'll be able to tell you if you can get an auxilliary input for that model year that will allow you to connect your iPod directly to your stereo.  If not, your choices are (a) an FM transmitter -- not recommended because of static, or (b) a new stereo that has an auxilliary input for the iPod.
