What is the best diet to feed my hamster?

Question

I know that hamsters eat insects in the wild and i want his cage to feel more realestic so what do i feed him to take the place of insects???

Also what fruits and veggies should i feed him? Are radishes and banananas and apples and spinach and all that stuff ok for him i dont want to feed him the wrong thing or something that could hurt him! PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION MY MOM AND I ARE GOING SHOPPING FOR HIM IN 1 HOUR!!!!!! (by the way he is very small hes a baby dwarf so i dont want to feed him too much!!!)

Okay, Extreme Fruit and Nut Mix. Fiesta mix. Animal  Planet Mix. I use these with my hammys and they love them!!! They mostly like fruit and nut mix!! Hope this helps! Oh yea! Get mineral chews (they love apple flavored!!)

Evryone hates them..... apples could be okay  - im not an expert but I have guinea pigs , so I know that they eat bannana skins , my cousins guinea pig eats all of the bannana even the skin!!!!!!!!! They eat apples but only the ones from your garden the other ones are prossesd

I have a hamster, but I dont feed him insects, my mom does not want them..

Anyway, you dont really have to feed your hamster insects, im not all that sure if you can replace something for insects, besides giving him real ones. Sorry....

Radishes you can feed your hamster, but make sure you wash them very good, and dont give him too much of them, maybe just 1/4 of one each day. bananas are ok too, apples, and spinach are good too. My hamster also likes carrots, cucumber, peaches and lettuce. For the cucumber and peaches, take off the skin, and dont feed your hamster too much lettuce (only about as big as half of your palm, or even smaller), becuase too much lettuce could lead to wet tail.

You can try feeding your hamster nuts. Lots of hamsters LOVE nuts! I give my hamster unseasoned peacans and peanuts.

Buy Kaytee- Forti Diet for a commercial mix. You can give him everything except peppers, citrus fruits, onions, beans, potatoes, and the green part in tomatoes. Give him half a teaspoon of fruits and veggies a day.
