What is the best digital camara?

Casio's are pretty awesome and there slim and I am pretty sure it fits your requirements (10.1 MegaPixels)

I would suggest Kodak as my first option yet they haven't fully optimized there software its glitchy and slow. But it takes wonderful photos so if you get a kodak try 3rd party software, like adobe or something like that or freeware.

(up to 12 mega pixels full screen, 9 mega pixels wide screen) I own one it is pretty nice, don't take videos at the highest format on this is wont process good on your computer.

Well, I'm not good with cameras so I'll just tell you about mine. I have a Canon PowerShot SD750. It's a pretty good camera but it doesn't have some features that I would want (like sapia? or other colors, it has black and white though) Sorry if that made no sense. I don't like that it darkens the background all of the time. I used to have a camera that would only darken the background when the lighting was no good. Oh, this camera has 7.1 megapixles. If I were you, I would go to bestbuy.com and read people's reviews on there and get a persons opinion on whether they liked or disliked the camera.

you should get a cannon power shot, those are good cameras!!
