depends what u call decent money! but i'm not rich or anything and i judgest specialized p series specialized.com they are brilliant u buy them on 2008 and they last 2020 they have cro-mo frames wich is very strong but when the paint comes out a bit u have to repaint fast coz it gets rusty quickly but it's a great bike marzocchi DJ from 2 to 3 disc brakes husefelt padel thingys and one of them is fixed gear but the other one has like 7 gears sram(i think) and a chain tensioner!

and u can also freeride with it(no suspension on the back tho) specialized tyres search it on google it's worth it 800 euros the best of them!

That depends what you mean by dirt jump bike...   BMX style bike or Motocross bike?

If you mean dirt bike then go with a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke racing bike (the liquid cooled ones). the bigger the shocks the softer the landings.
