I hear sometimes the flight attendents can be particularly rude, and since this will be my first time boarding a plane, I don't want it to be a traumatizing experience.

  1. I am a fan of United, hate US Airways.  If you let them know it's your first time, they will surely be nice to you.

  2. JetBlue and Southwest are pretty good.  As for the legacy carriers, I would agree Continental would be pretty good compared to the other airlines.

US Airways is an airline I would avoid.  They have a high rate of mishandled luggage.  Also they were the first airline to get rid of the free bags of pretzels.  Now they charge $2 for a can of soda.

  3. jetblue

    virgin america (not virgin atlantic)

    southwest

and on other airlines they're not rude as long as you're not.

  4. In my opinion go with Southwest. My neighbor is a southwest pilot. It is a fun airline. One time when i flew with them they did toilet paper races- They took a rol of toilet paper and had us pass it the rows, then they put the end in the toilet and flushed and it flew up the aisles. it was fun

Deffinentaly NOT US Air. My family flies with them and they are NEVER on time. Plus most times we fly there planes are broken.

  5. i think its continental, virgin america and united..

hgb, that is so awesome! haahaha i wish that kind of things will happen on my next flights, wow.

  6. I would say Continental Airlines.  Their employees are happy and have high morale versus any other legacy airlines.  Their executives treat their employees well and it reflects on their inflight service too.

  7. Best:  Alaska Airlines

Worst:  Tie between American and Southwest.
