I was going to recommend Dansko too. They're about the same price as most standard dress shoes, which means they're often less expensive than the big brand names. Unlike the big brand names, they're comfortable, very well-made, and are manufactured in Europe (mainly Poland and Denmark) by skilled workers who are paid a competitive wage for their labour.  (Too many big name brands are made in sweatshops in Thailand, the Marianas, etc. by unskilled workers, and the quality shows.)

They last forever too, so unless you go out of your way to damage them they should last you for many years.

i got some called LTX with Dr. scholls massaging Gel insoles in side they feel great. Look for them at alot of the out let shoe stores around you.

Dr Martens shoes are extremely comfortable, especially once you've worn them in. They also fit kind of loose around your foot (they don't come in half sizes), so it's easy to put some gel insoles in them for added comfort.

You can find them online at zappos.com. Zappos is great, as long as you know your shoe size. Shipping is free and each order comes with a prepaid return label. If you get some shoes from them and they don't fit right, you can just return them in the box they came in with the return label and order something different. Or, just get your money back.

I dont know how dressy you need but I worked at huge bar that had cement floors and I bought these shoes made by Dansko.  They make shoes specifically for those reasons.  They are pricey but sooooo worth every penny (about 100.00 a pair).  They are very well made and durable.

Ecco makes comfortable dress shoes.

I have to do trade shows about 4 times a year and that means 3-5 days of 10 hours on a concrete floor. The Ecco's have been great.
