  1. Go to the store and test some of them out and get whatever one is the most comfortable

  2. Taylor Made Tour Burner

  3. I think you should take the exact same question into a pro shop which has a launch machine (in the UK, there is American Golf)

Take your R5 in with you and go onto the machine. The pro will be able to see how fast your swing is, how your shot shapes, launch angle, carry, spin, everything!!

Then for example if you need more loft on your shots to get a bigger distance he/she will give you different clubs to try.

I did this when I needed a new driver I went into American Golf and picked a few drivers that I liked, and hit balls with one of the guys off the machine. He was able to give me different clubs to try and it came down to a Jack Nicklaus driver.

I was getting 280yards distance, and scores of 80/100.

After I wanted to try the Taylormade R7, and I was only hitting it 180yards, and getting scores of only 30/100. The ball wasn't getting any loft or anything.

This just shows that the biggest names in golf won't always be the best.

So get to a shop with on of these machines near you and find the driver which best suits your game, for your price range.

  4. If you are dead-set on a TaylorMade, get a Burner.  But I would try out different shafts to see which one I hit the best and most consistent.

Don't be afraid to switch brands.  I bought a Ping G10 this season after years of playing Callaway.  I love it.

  5. i hit my sumo2 9.5 stiff great.  but if you want taylormade then a r7 superquad or burner. if you hit your current loft too high go 1 degree or 2 degrees lower. and get a stiff shaft.
