What is the best driving route across Mexico. Entering at Laredo TX ending at Puerto Vallarta.?

Best site to use for this is the one I listed below. add a few hrs. to the time it tells you!  If you have driven in Mexico before, you know it always takes longer than your first estimate.  You would be wise to buy a Guia Roji, the Mexican road atlas.  If you cannot find it at a local bookstore you can order it form Amazon.com.  You will need Mexican car ins...see 2nd website for my favorite.  See 3rd website for car permit info.  Have a great trip.

WHY? IS USING HIGHWAYS..... EXPENSIVE BUT SAFER.....

i would go laredo to monterrey, monterrey to aguascalientes, aguascalientes to guadalajara, and then the only route from there.  all toll roads.
