What is the best dry food to feed kittens?

i know that iams is not really good for kittens so what other brand of kitten food are good for kittens?

i used science diet for kittens.

it was reccomended by the person who gave me my kitty, and she was like a half vet (one of those people who spent so much time with animals they could become vets) and it was really good, they have a really nice line of cat food.

I had my kitten since she was 4 weeks old.  I had her whole litter.  I fed them Royal Canin BabyCat 34 kitten food.  The kittens readily ate it and they grew fantastically.

I kept one, my friend kept one, and we placed another with a family from work.  My friend and I kept our kittens on the RC BabyCat food, but the other family switched to Purina Kitten Chow.  The third kitten has a noticably rougher coat, my kitten is soft as silk!

I work for the animal rescue league.  We feed the kittens whatever we have as long as it is specifically labelled for kittens.  if it doesn't say kittens on the package then don't get it.  But the brand doesn't matter so long as its kitten food.

I use Royal Canin, depending on the kittens age as what formula they get. They have a formula for kittens as young as 4 weeks old. My babies love it and my vet says it is a good food. Depending the cats age and needs as to what formula they get.
