What is the best electric guitar brand for beginners?

I'm looking for a guitar for my daughter but i want something mid-low priced.

Fender has a beginner line called Squier. They make a Squier Strat that looks good, sounds good, and you can usually get it packaged with an amp, bag, and accessories for around $200

ibanez guitars are Awesome. I started with them like couple years ago and loved it, I bought a cool cheap one too, I'm more advance now but I still chose Ibanez love the brand and quality, they also have a great price ranges.... get a Ibanez you will not regret it I assure you lol. I still have my very first Ibanez guitar and its still in great shape. for amps and heads go with fender. :D

Vox are meant for beginners to sound professioal at lowest or budget prices,value for dosh.
