What is the best everything virus protection for a cheap price?

I currently have Spy Sweeper and, Trend Micro Antivirus 2007 on my computer. My subscription will be done soon, and I think I want to try something new. I need to know what is the best everything program, and what I mean by that is what program is all in one anti virus, spyware, adware and malware, firewall protection? I do not want to have to purchase seperate programs. One more thing, I dont know much about computers and virus programs so please explain things in a way that I would understand. If there is a free program I can download online I am up for that too. I just want my laptop to be protected. Please site your sources! Thanks!

As for Spy Sweeper; keep it for I use it and it Is the best even at $30.00 per year.  Now as for your anti-virus; I suggest Bit Defender Total Security for the total package at $60.00 per year, because it will stop everthing that trys to get in your PC.  There is a cheaper one.  Just the plain jane version Bit Defender and it is also excellent at $30.00 per year.  I use Bit Defender Total Security and the other day when I was surfing it idenified and blocked a trojan from coming in.

if you wan to pay then use kaspersky internet security suite or avira premium anti-virus with comodo firewall pro(free)

its not possible to get a free all in one program : ( im afraid.......but

u can download a free firewall called zonealarm  its very

good i use it,and u can download a free antivirus software called avg free that also is very very good,in regards to spyware i use a program called adaware 2008 this is also free i will put the links below for u =P

i know they are 3 seperate programs but they are all FREE and easy to use and will protect u online with no problems at all,just make sure u uninstall ya old antivirus and firewall software before u install the ones i have posted,that way u wont be running 2 firewalls and 2 antivirus programs

dont bother wasting money buying pc protection the free ones are just as good.I made the mistake of upgradeing my avg free to avg pro 2yrs ago and there is no difference at all except i had to pay for the pro version.

I would suggest you check out some of these anti-virus and anti-spyware software programs along with a couple other recommended programs:

-McAfee 12 in 1 Security Center (anti-virus)

or AVG if you want a free program

-Spyware Doctor with AV (anti-spyware)

or Spybot S&D if you want a free program

-PC Tools Firewall Plus(free) (firewall)

-ThreatFire(free) (added virus protection)

-CCleaner(keep computer running pretty good, cleans up history and whatnot)

-Firefox(safe browser)

All of the above programs(aside Spybot and AVG) I use and have been using for a very long time now, all with fantastic results. For AVG and Spybot they are both good in the way of free protection but McAfee and Spyware Doctor are recommended.

I don't know about all in one but you can get tons of good programs free at download.com.  AVG is a great antivirus.  Ad-aware is good for adware and malware.  Your computer should already have firewall protection.  So you can get it all for free.

Try avast. It is free for personal use.

It is a very effective anti-virus program with high detection rates.
