  1. All of the other answers are very good, add an exercise to strengthen your core abdominal muscles.  I bought a new device for use this year that really helps, 10 minutes a day with it and I feel much stronger. Very portable, and inexpensive jump rope.  Just keep away from your neck.  Good turns to you.  Jim.

  2. Squats, Lunges, and Stair Master!

Work your legs like nobody's business

  3. pushups, squats, nd sit ups

  4. You can work target areas of the body that you will be using the most skiiing. There is the "Ski Jump" where you put your feet together and jump from side to side like you are jumping moguls. Then, there is the "Super Squats". You squat down til your butt is parallel to the ground with your arms out in front of you and you lunge forward and return to the starting position. Then do some lunges and calf stretches and cool off with some deep stretching for 10 minutes. Do that everyday for a month and you will be ready.

  5. amm mostly for calf muscles!!

    u know lower body parts:)

  6. Do your average gym-class warmup stretches and exercises (jumping jacks, pushups, that stuff)

  7. exercise too much and you'll be too sore to ski.

  8. Personally I primarily work on my legs and abs.  My routine includes a 30 minute jog and hundreds of crunches.  I hardly use weights because you mainly relying on your bone structure as suspension.  It also depends on how aggressive you are on the slopes.

Remember to stretch before and after any exercise.  This includes before and after skiing.  From experience, a cramp on the hill is killer.  Especially when there's a bunch of skiers coming at you!

Check the link for more info.  It does a pretty good job of potential workouts.

  9. Crash and roll.

  10. You legs will need a lot of strength and endurance, so train them! Test your leg by "sitting" against the wall without anything to hold you up. That's the kind of stuff you need to be good at!

  11. Anything that strengthens your ankles, and legs.

  12. just bendy stuff really
