I have a stock 1.8T. The car is bad but, I know it could sound totally bad ***. So the question is what exhaust is the right exhaust. I want something with a lot of deep muscly sound, not the weed whacker noise, and possibly some more power. My grandfather, who is rooted in muscle cars, suggested a glass pack exhaust. So I'm lost. I just want something distinguished and loud. Please someone hook me up with eveything I need to know! (eg. pipe size, brand, etc.) Thanks!

  1. well the jetta for that year had the 2.5'' pipe for stock. I have the GLI model for that year and i put a 3'' down pipe and made a custom HKS Hi-Power exhaust system. The car sounds amazing and not like a weed eater on steroids. It has a low rumble to it and sounds more like a large liter v6. hope this helps.
