  1. You can check out a "virtual makeover" on www.marykay.com by picking out a model with skin, hair and eye color closest to you or you can even upload your own photo to try different shades or makeup artist looks.

  2. You'll want highly pigmented colors, unfortunately those are usually more expensive. The common drugstore eye shadows are usually somewhat translucent when you put them on. If a drug store near you sells max factor, they have eye shadow singles that do really well with eye shadow brushes. For black and burgundy I would probably just do a smoky eye with black liner and using black shadow with an angled brush around the eyeliner with maybe a little bit of a golden shine on the lid. For denim I would probably do a dark blue or a color that compliments the shirt. Another good brand for eyeshadow might be milani eye shadow singles.

  3. earth tone color would suit dark skin well.

I'd suggest u to try brown bronze eye shadow that has abit of silver glittles. u also can try glighttle eyeliner.

  4. A nice brown color close to ur skin maybe with a little shimmer to it but not too much it workz fpr me GOOD LUCK!

  5.     I think warm tones would suit someone with a darker complexion. I am of spanish decent and I stick to browns and bronze shades. People with dark skin tend to have few imperfections and therefore do not require as much makeup. For me, a  little bronze shimmers go a long way. So for day to day wear stick to warm neutrals.

If you want to play it up for a special occasion I find that I can wear pinks and purple shades quite well. I will usually only wear these if I'm wearing a pink or purple shirt. Also you could go with a turqoise or peacock blue if your feeling daring. These shades also look great with dark hair/skin. It would basically depend on what colors you are wearing.

Try going to the covergirl website. They can do color recommendations based on the info you give them

    Good luck!
