  1. Yes, tea tree and peppermint face wash is ok. Next time you can get something with glycolic acid in it.

Aside from washing, you also have to tone and moisturiz. Look for a toner with salicylic acid. A complete regimen is better at controlling facial oil than simple washing alone. Wash-tone-moisturize. You need to moisturize with a light moisturizer once a day, even when your skin is oily.

Use warm water when you wash your face because it is good at stripping off the facial oil.

  2. I've never had good skin. It was never awful, but not good.

Now that I'm 24 I thought it would have cleared up...

Anyway... I've been using Neutrogena Face wash for acne prone skin, followed by cucumber extract toner for dry skin, by C.O. Bigelow, and finishing with bareMinerals Vitamin Skin Rev-er Upper. No lie, my skin started looking so much better! In a week, it looked great, and it didn't get all dry like when I used Clearasil creams or anything like that.

  3. i personally cant stand the smell of tea tree oil, but if its working for you then definitely stick to it.

i recommend shiseido's benefience range, they moisturise your skin while preventing break outs. also clinique has a whole range for oily skin, and you can also customize your own skincare range using their products.

  4. apply multani mithi ie sandalwood powder wid milk n water every alternate day...its very gud 4 oily skin..........i used d same..it worked...

  5. Cetaphyl for oily skin.  I am obsessive about my skin.  I'm in my 40's but most people think I'm in my late 20s.  I LOVE it.

  6. Well, ask your dermatologist first. Your skin might get irritated.

If your dermatologist introduce you a product for you to use, then use it. Probably that's the product you need to use. But if your dermatologist says your skin is not so sensitive, then maybe he thinks any product will not irritate your skin. But remember, if you will use a new product, inform your dermatologist first. Not all products are safe.

So, you said that you  have an oily skin, then use a product which specializes in removal of excess oil in skin.

If no product solves your problem, maybe your skin have a problem. Get a check up. Maybe you need to have a facial therapy or treatment or something.

    Always talk to your dermatologist.

    =))
