  1. magazine: street and smith

  2. NONE! Mags are printed weeks before your draft and the info in them is stale and old. Guys who draft from mags usually wind up drafting injuried or retired players.

You better bet is to print out a FREE cheat sheet from sportsline.com, foxspors.com, fftoday.com the day before your draft. That way you save $5-$10 and have the most recent information!

  3. I have converted to mostly online resources, but of the magazines, Fantasy Football Index is the best.  They offer free updates to their information if you buy the magazine.  A lot of magazines become obsolete when they hit the shelves.

Pro Football Weekly also does a nice job.

My primary on-line resource is Footballguys.com.  Their Draft Dominator software is very helpful.

If you are using Yahoo for your league and plan to buy StatTracker, for $3 more you can get their draft kit, which is decent...

  4. For free 2008 fantasy football cheat sheets and player rankings check out http://www.fantasyfootballdraftchamps.co...

They also offer custom draft rankings that are tailored for your league at http://www.draftchamps.com

  5. footballguys.com has an excellent fantasy football magazine.

  6. Magazines are a good source for initial information, but it is best not to rely heavily on them. Most magazines are already in the stores so the information in them is weeks old at this point and will be even more so as it gets closer to the start of the season. You don't want to be "that guy" who ends up drafting somebody that has either a season ending injury or has been cut during the pre season. The most useful information you can get is from updates through training camp. This will usually give you game play feedback that will more closely relate to NFL than combine or College experience. Check out a few different websites, some are free with very good information and even most of the pay sites are comparable to what you would pay for a magazine. Most sites will even give you down loadable up to date player rankings that you can print right before your draft.

  7. Don't know.   I have the one from rotoworld.com and it's pretty good.  I haven't looked at every single one though to tell you which is the very best.

  8. http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/welcome?ex_...

    ESPN has excellent fantasy football.
