wow , I dont think anyone has the answer to that , since we could not witness the greek pankriton fights , which Im sure where crazy. But in my day , I liked Cro-cop vs. Fedor , Scott smith vs. Pete sell , and Genki Sudo vs. anyone.

Well, in modern day history some believe as do I that Forrest Griffen vs. Stephan Bonner is the most important fight in MMA history because its what put MMA on the map.  Since then I think Gonzga Vs. Cro Cop has a good reach on one of the best fights in the MMA if not then it is definitely one of the most brutal KO's in MMA history.

There are a lot of them but the bonner griffin fight was pretty brutal and action packed if you are looking for a fight where it was pretty equal.

There are too many where they were one sided and exciting

karo parisyan vs. diego sanchez. all three rounds, back and forth. diego had nice ground and pound and punches, karo had some amazing throws. they dueled it out to the end. and karo lost a tooth thanks to a knee from diego. great fight. maybe not the best, but definatetly one of them.
