  1. Keep hitting, keep going forward.  Simple, yet effective.

  2. basic boxing skills - striking and blocking - will serve you no end. spatial awareness is important. close the distance between yourself and the opponent- it is a lot harder to strike someone with any meaningful power when they are in close (e.g. Muay Thai clinch) although watch for elbows, knees and head butts.

All in all to be good in a street fight i would have said you need stand up (boxing, Muay Thai, Japanese JuJistu), and good grappling/tieing your opponent up so you can manipulate them(Wrestling/BJJ/Judo)

However, the best advice is to make an exit and get away if you can.

check out www.bullshido.net for a lot more in depth information and a good source of MA knowledge

  3. A swift kick in the goolies.

  4. Dont fight , simple as thicko !

  5. best tactic to fighting is not be there when it starts

  6. to be aware of the situation.

  7. There are various tactics, some prefer defensive, some prefer offensive, some prefer counter attacks.

"The best defence is attack" . This is a quote you must have heard many times. And it is still one of the best fighting tactics, because while your opponent is defending all your combinations, he has no time to attack, and so it lower your risks. (you still have to watch out for counter attacks). If your attacks is unpredictable and fast and continuous, a counter attack by your opponent is very slim. You should get a few hits in before he has a chance.

So if attack is the best tactic. when should we attack.

If yoiur opponent is stand still with his guard up, then, he is waiting for you to attack, so he can do a counter attack. Because he is ready for defensive mode, it is harder to attack him and land any hits, also, you could walk into a trap.

The best attack: What you should do is wait at a safe distance where your opponent have to take two steps to hit you. You wait!!!!!and be ready!! (it is best if you let him think that you are scare and that you have no plans, or let him think that if he is not going to attack soon, you may just run away). It is an obvious choice for him, which is to take two steps to hit you. HIs mind is on attacking mode, he worked out the distance and what attacks he will use, he has an attacking plan.

As soon as he move his foot forwards, his foot is still in mid air. You step for the attack. when he lands his first step, and your first step lands, the distance is perfect, you hit him with combinations of hits. Yoiu took him by surprise. He has no defence plan, his attack is interupted, because the distance is all wrong for him. Once he took that first step, in mid air, he could not change directions. You bloody launch a non- stop combinations, do not stop untill he is down. If you still can't be beat with 10 hits combo and he still standing with little damage, well, then you know this guy is too strong for you. Once he regrouped you have no advantage. Time to run and save yourself. For tough opponents, your combinations must involve some hits to the groin, eyes, throat. That should take care of the big tough guys. IF your hits have been ineffective when you took him by surprise, then, what is the chance of your hits being effective when the guy is ready for you. Don't be a fool, at times, a fighter must recognize his own strength and able to admit that your opponent is too strong.

2nd best attack is when you have been waiting, and your opponent is very cautious, he also wait for you. He want to do counter attacks. He is in defensive mode. See if you can get him to come in by inviting him to fight or by abusing him. If he still want you to make the first move and for some reason, you must take him out and you don't want to walk away from this fight. Do a fake it as if you are going to move in, to see what he would do, to see if his plan is to step to the side or to stand and block your attack.  If he intend to stand and block. your next move is to fake a high punch and hit low with punch (or kicks) or fake a low kick and punch high. His counters will not work because you have confused him with the fake hit.

If his intention is to step to the side. You fake the move in, he step to the side, then you move towards where he lands. Do the same as above, fake high and hit low, or fake low and hit high.

This is the 2nd best tactics, mainly because the period you are doing a fake, there is a small moment of weakness in your defence.

These two tactics has been quoted by one of the top martial artist in china. The first best tactic has been turned into proverb in martial art literature. It goes something like this: "if he does not move, i also do not move, but when he move (to attack), i move first (i got the attack in first)."

Alternatively, if you want to find out a few things about your opponent first, you can fake a move in, to put pressure on your opponent, as soon as he attacks, you disengage fast. from his first attack, you can guess his style of martial art, his speed and power , his techniques (good or bad) . Then, you can formulate a plan and you can go back and use the top 2 tactics.

Other tactics.  , counter attacks is good against a slow big guy, bigger than you.  This is safer, because his first attack has been wasted and you got your first ht and combinations in. Some big guy, instead of defending your first attack, they just launch their attacks as well. So even if you hit him first and he hit you 2nd, or if you both hit each other at the same time, you are worst off because he can do more damage.

    good luck.

One more thing this just as important as tactics, You must be aggressive mentally.

  8. hit hard, hit first, hit often

  9. stamp on the neck kick the ribs and run like h**l..

  10. To avoid getting into a fight in the first place. If you absolutely, positively have to fight, do whatever you have to do to survive. Groin strikes, hair pulling, pinching, biting, scratching. . .whatever keeps you breathing.

  11. Avoid the confrontation in the first instance or RUN!

  12. Punch as hard and fast as you can.  Street fighting is so unexpected.  There really is no game plan for it you just gotta hit hard and fast grab and cheap shot when you can.  You gotta hurt them before they hurt you.

  13. chinese burn!

  14. Let your opponent throw the first punch, step to the side, parry and grab the wrist with one hand pulling him forward and with your other hand execute a hard palm strike to his elbow (Make sure his arm is extended when you pull from the wrist and that will help break or dislocate that part of arm).

If he still wants to fight after that;  high tail it and run. Any more damage to him might get you arrested

  15. GUN

  16. use a spirit bomb or kah-me-ama-ah, then again a destructo disc might do the trick. solar flare is too unreliable and slow. use special beam cannon as a last resort.

    no!

do not get into street fights, if you do kick groins.

  17. dirty fighting...eye gouge, groin kick, knee strike, ear slap. I guess it depends on what you want to do.

  18. Not be there or run if possible :)***

  19. shout you have a bomb an they will **** themselves and run away!!

  20. Untrained equals stomped every time.  These varying opinions only prove that "street fighting" has no scientific technique what so ever other than the "basic boxing" answer given above.  There will always be "the trained" and "the untrained".  My answer was going to be "throw sloppy wild punches and hope for the best", but the other answers here are just as entertaining...."street fighter tactics" ROTFLMBO!!!

  21. Know your surroundings, how many people you have with you/they have with them (if it's not 1 on 1). Pay close attention to their stance because it determines what their style is. Someone who's gonna strike will have hands up chin down, boxers are a little more hunched, someone who might throw kicks will stand a bit more upright. If they're stance is low they'll probably shoot on you and GnP. A BJJ guy might try and pull you down into his guard (forget the name of this move).

Best advice: never underestimate the knockout, a quick and sure way to end a fight. I would throw a hook right to the guys temple.

  22. i enjoy the odd bout of bare a**e-boxing

  23. I'll have to say cheating! unless you meant in good old fashioned non-cheatng fighting lol

  24. kick butt!
