What is the best first car to get?

i need to get a new first car and saftey and low cost and the priorities.

ive been looking at the honda jazz and the mazda 2. any suggestions? what was your first car?

A good first car is a 2002 hoda civic. they are good on gas and dont brake down alot

Hondas, Toyotas, nissans all will run forever with min probs for the most part so anyone of thoese but prob more honda and toyota just because they are cheaper.
