You finally get your driver's license, now all you need is a car but you don't know which one to choose.

In your opinion what is the best first car to own?

  1. Pontiac Grand Prix.

  2. I would have to say some compact car with a good reliability rating, and good gas miliage. Like the Honda Civic is good, or a Ford Focus. Mabye a small toyota....look on Consumer reports for things like reliability. Mabye even an old Ford Fiesta lol. Congrats on your drivers license!

  3. For your first car, almost ANYTHING will do. I know I didn't care what I got, as long as I had wheels.

Seriously, I would go for something used, mid-sized. Reason is, those who just get their license are at very high risk for accidents - no experience and fearless (or stupid).

Don't get a Honda!!! They are built like a tin can and are likely to get totaled if in an accident as well as resulting in injury.

I wouldn't get a large vehicle either, like an SUV. They give you too much confidence so are more accident prone. They also suck too much gas.

  4. 1966 ford convertible mustang

  5. A Pontiac Vibe - Stylish, roomy, 35 mpg, and sits higher than most small cars giving you a better view of the road.

  6. any honda civic from the 90's that includes crx and del sol cause technically they are still a version of the Civic. they are cheap to buy. cheap to fix. easy to fix if your a do it yourself kinda person. get very good gas mileage. and if your into the import scene if you get a somewhat clean car it will be easy to modify it a bit. make it somewhat quick and get that JDM look and your set. you have an original car that you can call yours. unlike buying a newer car and having to buy hella exspensive stuff which you probably cant afford so it stays the same like every one elses.

  7. A used front wheel drive, 4-cylinder, steel framed, four door that has current inspection and tags.

  8. A older Honda Civic. Like any model between 99-05, they are not expensive, they safe, and all of them get about 35mpg. Insurance isn't that bad, and it makes a comfortable car to drive around and inexpensive to maintain/repair! Super reliable and affordable cars!
