What is the best fish & seafood restaurant in London?

I am most interested in the quality of the food (I want the menu to have good range, the dishes have got to be TASTY!!!)

Ambiance and service are also important.

I want a venue that's gonna be great for a date!!!

  7. I would highly recommend Bentleys of Swallow Street. It is run by Richard Corrigan of Great British Menu fame. The building itself is lovely inside, and you can eat downstairs in the bar area if you want a more informal meal, or upstairs in the restaurant. I went there with my husband for my birthday so its a great place for a date or a special occasion. The food I had there was excellent, as was the service and the ambiance, and I cant wait to go back. I thoroughly enjoyed native oysters, followed by a fish pie to die for. The wine menu is reasonably priced for a top London restaurant. Its located near Regent Street / Picadilly Circus, so a very easy location to get to.   12. That's difficult..if you are in london, get to the nearest airport and fly to France, you will find plenty there.
