  1. actually, the one that i've found works best is one of the cheapest: vidal sassoon.

you can usually get it for about $20-$30 at most drug stores.

  2. Ok, don't worry. There are many good straighteners put its hard to find the one that is right for you. My sister uses a CHI and it doesn't make her hair stiff and stuck together so I would consider looking at that one as well just to check it out. Different hairstyles work with different things. Also, I was watching TV Programming and saw a hair straightner that they were selling which was really good for any hair type. It has some special crystals in it which coat the hair so that it doesn't frizz up under humidity or pressure or throughout the day. They showed a test even with a girl whose hair was straightened on one side with some other straightener and on the other side with the one with the crystals in it and they put her in this like cubicle which had tons of humidity. The one side frizzed up and the other side stayed perfectly straight. The straight side was the one that was used with the crystal styler. It does a really good straigthening job too, it also curls as well i think. it makes the hair look naturally straight and healthy. I don't remember what its called but the website is www.kstyler.com HOPE I HELPED!!!

  4. Hey Manda

I have tried nearly every iron on earth because I didn't want to pay the ridiculous amount for a GHD.....but yes, I have ended up with the GHD and its da bomb!  It is the greatest iron ever made known to man.  I have super curly ringlets which are frizzy as all h**l and the GHD tames my hair.

    I strongly recommend the GHD!

    Happy Straightening!

  5. I bought the maxiglide last year and I thought it was wonderful at first, thinking I would not have to relax my hair ever again. After a few weeks of using it I noticed that it was breaking my hair off in the back layers. I was extremely gentle with my hair when I was trying to get it straight. My hair was almost waist length at the time. A week later I went to my hairstylist and I winded having to cut about 4 inches off because using it (maxiglide with the prongs on the plate) ripped my hair out in the back. It also gave me alot of split ends. So now my hair is alot shorter because of this stupid flatiron.. I am growing it back now, but of course it takes time. Do not waste your money on this flatiron, it will ruin your hair. BUY CHI ATLEAST IT DOESNT BREAK YOUR HAIR
